Beneficial Bugs: Nature’s Pest Control
Saturday, October 24 | 10:00 AM
Join us as we celebrate beneficial bugs and Fairview’s commitment to growing healthy plants! Bioline representative and entomologist Jeff Coco will take us behind the scenes of Fairview’s biological control program and introduce some of the tiny—but mighty—allies we use to manage pests in our greenhouses.
Jeff will discuss the importance of biocontrol, the beneficial insects and products we use at Fairview, which common pests they target, and how these same principles can be applied by home gardeners and houseplant enthusiasts. We’ll also have live/demo materials highlighting beneficial insect products and options suitable for homeowner use.
