Sunday, November 29, 2026 | 2:00–4:30 PM
$35 per person | Limited to 16 participants
Get into the holiday spirit with an afternoon of American Mahjong surrounded by beautiful poinsettias, Christmas greenery, and festive displays at Fairview Garden Center!
Guided Play is perfect for players who have taken a Mahjong lesson but are still building their confidence. Laura Madison of Mad About Mahj NC will be on hand to answer questions, offer guidance, and help you feel more comfortable as you play.
A few things to know before registering:
This is not an introductory lesson. Some prior experience and a basic understanding of American Mahjong and the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card are required.
You'll play with other developing players, with guidance available when needed.
Please bring your current NMJL card if you have one.
All Mahjong equipment will be provided.
Come enjoy a little friendly competition, holiday cheer, and an afternoon of Mahjong among the poinsettias!
Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
